I am both an iOS app developer and an English language instructor. I graduated from English Language Teaching department of Selcuk University in 2003. I also have a Master’s degree on English Language Education from Bahcesehir University which I completed in 2016. I worked at several universities as an English Language Instructor. I started developing iOS apps in 2013.I currently have 9 apps that are on the App Store.

I am an iOS developer / English language instructor living in Turkey. I started programming for iOS as a hobby in 2013. I started my development journey with Objective C, but soon after that Swift was introduced by Apple and I shifted my focus to building apps with Swift. As a developer, I currently have 9 apps that are on the App Store. Most of my apps made their way into the Top Charts of my country’s App Store.
I have started working as an English Teacher at a secondary school in 2007. Later, I moved to teaching at universities and have worked at universities as an English language instructor for about 5 years. I started my Master's degree in 2014 and completed it in 2016. Since early 2016, I have been working as a freelance iOS developer.
In my latest App Ehliyet Sınavına Hazırlık (Driving Test Preparation), I designed an app to help those that will enter the driving test. There are a total of 950 questions in the application. These questions are divided into categories like Engine, Traffic, Traffic Etiquette, First Aid as well as the actual dates of the test the questions were asked. So the user can choose to start a partial test by clicking on any category or can do the full exam for a past date all at once. The applcation has 310 positive ratings from Turkey as of April 2020. The application has also found its way into the Top Apps list of Turkey.
Ehliyet Sınavına Hazırlık was developed after my wife decided to get a driving license. She used the app to study the test and she got 100 / 100. The app was completed in about 20 days.
The Planetary hours app is based on an astrological system called the Chaldean order of the planets. This system consists of a never ending loop of Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Moon. It is believed that each planet has an affect on the results of the decisions that you make. The app calculates the planetary hours according to the location of the user.
The app was developed in a month and is about to be released in the App Store soon.
Dhikr counter platinum is a paid app that targets the muslim users around the world. It is an islamic counter where you can add, delete, and edit its predefined dhikr list. Also reminders can be set for specific dates. The app is also highly customizable. The color of the counter can be changed. Settings for the vibration pattern can be changed along with many other settings. There are 2 different settings for daytime and night-time. The night-time mode is activated when the led button is pressed.The app is bundled with an Apple Watch app. The app has many positive feedbacks from around the world. Dhikr Counter Platinum has also made its way to the Top Apps list of Turkey many times.
The app took around 3 months to develop. During the development I learned lots of new concepts.
The Sims 4 is a really fun game and it has a large user base. I decided to help those players who want a better life for their sims so I made this app. The app includes almost all of the cheats that a player would require regardless of the platform the game is played. I also added a break reminder feature which alerts the user by saying “Please have a break for at least 5 minutes” after half an hour. The break reminder feature works even if the app is in the background.
The application took about a week to develop and release.
Durood Tunjina is another paid app targeting muslims around the world. It records the history of the recited durood, therefore a user can see how many times the durood was recited between different time frames. The user can set a reminder from the alarm tab, also from the settings tab the user can customize many features of the app.
This is the 2nd version of the app. It is about to be released to the App store. Many new features were added to the 2nd version. The development took a week.
Televizyon Kulesi (Television Tower) was a weekend project for me. I wanted to watch tv on my mobile without having to get into a website. This app is not released and it is only for my own use.

Having skills in language arts also gives me the ability to be good at computer languages. I use this ability to design and deliver high quality iOS applications.
Learning new skills in my free time is something that I enjoy. Recently, I started a machine learning course that I really liked. Of course it will take time to master it.
Photography is another hobby of mine. I like nature photography.
Video editing is one of my recent hobbies. The things that you can do with video editing software are incredible and they all have their own learning curve, just like a programming language. But once you master it you can be a good visual story teller.
